Koula Budler
Koula began her broadcasting career in South Africa on campus and retail radio. A week after graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Koula was snapped up by national CHR station, 5FM, becoming one of the youngest professional broadcasters in the country. Koula spent 10 years working on national and regional radio. During that time, she transitioned into TV and hosted several music, lifestyle and entertainment shows - the most notable being SAFTA-winning (South African Film & TV Award) ‘All Access’. She has worked on 5 continents, traveled through 32 countries and relocated to the USA in December 2012. Koula is a Positive Women ambassador - a charity focusing on supporting HIV-affected women and children in Swaziland. A self-confessed foodie, she won the celebrity episode of BBC South Africa’s ‘Come Dine With Me’ in 2012. She is also a running enthusiast, having completed 6 Comrades Marathons (South Africa's infamous 56 mile ultra marathon).
